1. I have a small business and the economy is slow. Do you have any equipment for a very tight budget ?

YES, besides new systems, we also sell fully tested, refurbished systems with a 30 day Warranty, and free initial configuration/setup to your specification. We also offer an optional 'worry free' Maintenance Agreement, which includes: free system and configuration changes, system checks, software updates, and advanced replacement parts.

 

2. . I have an older system that is working fine, however my Service Provider is out of business. Can you service my system ?

YES, we offer service on systems we didn't initially sell. Depending on your system, we can do repairs, replace phones, and, on some systems. we may offer our 'worry free' Maintenance plan. Even on unsupported systems, we have the contacts with repair/refurbishing shops to source obscure replacements or repair of your parts (availability varies).

3. Now that our system is no longer manufactured, how do we decide when we need to replace it ?

YES,some of our customers have systems that are in their second decade of service. The critical factors for deciding when it makes sense to replace older systems are; parts availability, and ROI.

As systems become more 'antiquated', the demand for parts, and thus price, but ALSO availability, declines.

Repairs become dependent on part availability; not such a big deal if one phone goes out, but if your PBX cabinet looses a main card, you might be waiting for days to get a replacement (and if none are available, repair of the bad card can still be several days, plus 'Overnight' charges). For those intent on wringing every day of life out of an old system, we recommend picking up a second, identical PBX, for parts. If this is your strategy, contact us; we can often pick up a system being replaced, for you, inexpensively, and can test it for you. You should think of this as only temporary insurance, with negligible Return on Investment.

New, or recently manufactured ('supported') systems offer functional features unavailable on older systems. Added functionality, combined with considerations like included warranty, possible depreciation credit, etc., make a strong case for replacement, if the budget can support it. In some cases, a thorough audit of communications costs, including potential savings of technologies incorporated into newer hardware, like IP Telephony, can completely cost-justify replacement, without spending any more per month than at present (as opposed to spending on propping up an old system).

4. I just moved and now nothing is working, can you help ?

YES, we provide on site troubleshooting service to prove the source of your problem (and thus, who can fix it without 'deniability'). If the issue is physical connectivity, we provide Demark extensions, network and telephone cabling to reconnect you. If the issue is 'outside', we can also help with interacting with your carrier to get the 'provisioning' on your lines straightened out. If the issue is with system programming, we are manufacturer-trained on many systems (we've been working in telephony for decades). If the system is outside our expertise, we have the industry contacts to connect you to the appropriate specialist .
